SPEED SWING MASTER

Designed to be versatile in a variety of rail service applications, the Speed Swing offers precise hydraulic engineering and ample power to install track, haul cars, unload ballast, set sleepers and perform countless other tasks.

Powered by a 163-horsepower Cummins QSB4.5 Tier 4 diesel engine that delivers up to 10 percent better fuel economy than the previous model, the Speed Swing features a 3-speed Dana T20000 transmission with electric twist-grip shift control for improved torque. The machine has a 10,000-pound front load capacity and up to 8,000-pound side load capacity.

Operators can move the Speed Swing between job sites quickly, traveling at 25 mph on rail tracks and 20 mph on all-terrain rubber tires. The tires—along with four-wheel drive with rear-wheel disconnect—also allow for greater maneuverability off the tracks to make light work of most jobs. Four-wheel external dry disc service brakes provide reliable stopping power.

Providing 180-degree boom rotation, the Speed Swing is primarily used for swapping out old rail for new. An optional magnetic package quickly clears metal plates, spikes and small pieces of rail from ballast. The unit can also tow carts, move rail cars and provide air or hydraulics for hand tools.

Durably built for the challenges of railroading, the Speed Swing is designed to simplify service and maximize uptime. A tilting ROPS/FOPS cab and tilting engine compartment provide direct access to service points and machine components. Additionally, an engine block heater keeps the machine running reliably in cold weather conditions. The air-conditioned operator’s cab includes a full instrumentation panel and precise operating controls.

Due to its versatility, the Speed Swing is the ideal equipment for track maintenance, as it speeds up services, with significant time savings, reducing labor costs, and improving quality and safety.

The BL Engenharia Group has modern equipment, operators and a specialized technical team to offer the best full service to its customers.
